About This Service

The Irish Claims Service is an informative service offering general information about legal issues and an introduction service connecting people with independent regulated professionals.

By using this website, for either information access or enquiry submission, you are agreeing to abide by these terms.

Age Requirement

The enquiry and introduction service is available only to persons aged 18 or over. An enquiry concerning a child must be submitted by a parent, guardian or other person with lawful authority to act on the child's behalf.

No Legal Advice

The content available on this website is for general information purposes only. It should not be interpreted as constituting legal or professional advice, nor does it establish a client-professional relationship between you and Claimsservice.ie.

The Irish Claims Service does not assess claims, determine liability, or provide legal representation. Only a regulated legal professional can provide legal advice concerning your specific circumstances.

Content Accuracy

Articles state their original publication date and, where applicable, their latest review date. We take reasonable steps to correct material errors brought to our attention. Legal information can become outdated and should not be relied upon as advice concerning an individual matter.

To report a factual error, please contact us with details of the article, the error and supporting sources.

No Professional Relationship

Submitting an enquiry through this website does not create a solicitor-client or other professional-client relationship. Any such relationship arises only if a professional independently agrees to accept instructions and confirms that directly to you in accordance with their own terms of engagement.

A non-legal professional does not provide legal advice or legal representation unless separately authorised by law to do so.

Financial Costs

The Irish Claims Service does not charge for introductions to professionals. However, legal costs, outlays and any potential liability for another party's costs depend on the circumstances and must be discussed directly with the professional before instructions are accepted. You should not assume there is no financial cost or risk involved in pursuing any legal claim.

Use of Website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the website.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Claimsservice.ie and its officers, employees and agents exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of or reliance on this website or its content, whether such loss or damage is direct, indirect, special, punitive or consequential.
