What We Do

The Irish Claims Service publishes general information about legal issues and provides an introduction service connecting people with independent regulated professionals.

We do not assess the legal merits or value of claims, determine liability, provide legal advice or act for claimants.

At your request, we may introduce you to an independent regulated professional who will decide whether to accept instructions and provide any professional assessment directly.

Who We Are

Claimsservice.ie is an independent service. We are not a solicitors' firm and we are not affiliated with any government body.

Our Panel

We maintain a panel of independent regulated professionals including solicitors, loss assessors, engineers, surveyors and other specialists. Panel members are selected according to published criteria including current practising status, relevant insurance, field of practice and jurisdiction.

Professionals are not ranked according to payments, donations or the financial value of a potential claim.

No Win No Fee

The introduction service is free. Any professional you instruct will confirm their own terms of engagement, which may include conditional fee arrangements (commonly known as "no win no fee" agreements). Such arrangements are a matter of agreement between you and the professional.

Legal Costs

The Irish Claims Service does not charge for introductions to professionals. However, legal costs, outlays and any potential liability for another party's costs depend on the circumstances and must be discussed directly with the professional before instructions are accepted.

Professional Relationship

No solicitor-client or other professional-client relationship is created by submitting an enquiry or using this website. Any such relationship arises only if a professional independently agrees to accept instructions and confirms that directly to you.
